When Arianna was four years old, she moved to Derwood, MD near Hill’s Gymnastics. Prior to the move, she had taken a few gymnastic classes at the Little Gym and loved it, so her mom signed her up for a class at Hill’s Gymnastics. Her coach recognized he aptitude for the sport and requested she be tested for the Junior Olympic team track. She made it into the Baby Angels and has not stopped moving up the levels since. After competing level 4, she tested out of level 5 and level 6 before moving up to level 7 for the 2016 season.

At the 2016 Level 7 State Championships, Arianna placed eighth in the all-around and fifth on vault and balance beam. She moved up to level 8 for the 2017 season where she placed ninth overall at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships. As a level 9 gymnast in 2018, Arianna finished fifth in the all-around, second on floor exercise and third on vault. She did well at the Region 7 Championships where she scored a 37.000 in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise with a 9.525. In 2019, Arianna placed fourth on floor exercise at the State Championships. She was the first alternate for the Level 9 Eastern Nationals after finishing eighth in the all-around and sixth on floor exercise at the Region 7 Championships.

Arianna qualified to the 2020 Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Arianna placed fourth in the all-around and third on balance beam at the Level 10 State Championships. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships.

Arianna trains 20 hours per week at Hill’s Gymnastics in Gaithersburg, MD under coach Cynthia Smaha. She is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals. Her long-term goal is to obtain a college gymnastics scholarship.
