Baylie has been training at Universal Gymnasts, Inc. since she started recreational classes at the age of three! She started competing level 4 in 2010 just right before she turned seven years old. Baylie finished third in the all-around and second on uneven bars and floor exercise at the State Championships. She skipped level 5 and quickly moved up to level 6 for the 2011 season. At the 2012 Level 6 State Championships, she placed third in the all-around and third on uneven bars and floor exercise.
Baylie moved up to level 7 in 2013. She finished in the top ten in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise with a 9.375 at the State Championships. In 2014 as a level 8 gymnast, Baylie placed eighth on floor exercise with a 9.300 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships where she finished 12th on floor exercise with a 9.450.
As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2015, Baylie finished second on floor exercise with a 9.475 at the State Championships. At the Region 5 Championships, she finished in the top 15 in the all-around, fifth on floor exercise with a 9.550 and eighth on balance beam scoring a 9.425. Baylie continued competing level 9 in 2016. She placed sixth in the all-around, fourth on floor exercise with a 9.425 and fifth on uneven bars with a 9.275 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships, finishing ninth on floor exercise with a 9.425.
Baylie moved up to level 10 for the 2017 season. At the State Championships, she placed sixth in the all-around and fifth on floor exercise with a 9.400. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships. In 2018, Baylie placed second in the all-around with a 37.075, second on balance beam and fourth on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 5 Championships, she finished sixth on floor exercise. In 2020, Baylie qualified to the Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Baylie trains 20 hours per week at Universal Gymnasts Inc. in Hilliard, OH under coaches Dave Anthony, Natalia Laschenova and Bill Widman. Baylie would like to compete for a college gymnastics team.
