Brianna Eng was born on April 1, 2003 in Florida to Bing and Kristin Eng. She is taking honors classes at Creekside High School and she will graduate in 2021. She is currently in the top 15% of her class. Brianna is a member of National English Honor Society and Best Buddies. In the summer of 2018, she was selected to go with her high school youth group at church for a 9-day mission trip to Costa Rica.

At the suggestion of a friend, Brianna's parents signed her up for a recreational class at the age of five. Little did they know that Brianna's passion for gymnastics had been ignited with the class. Brianna tried other sports and activities, such as swimming and dance, but nothing held her interest like gymnastics. Brianna's parents soon realized that she was going to be, bouncing, flipping and tumbling for a long time. Even at an early age she would stay after practice to learn new skills and always wanted to be in the gym. Brianna's parents tried to keep her in recreational gymnastics, but they finally signed her up for team after several coaches kept urging them. At the beginning of Brianna's gymnastics career, she trained at Starlight Gymnastics in Jacksonville, FL under coach Cheri Gillikin.

As a level 4 gymnast in 2011, Brianna finished first in the all-around with a 37.350 and first on balance beam and floor exercise at the State Championships. She moved up to level 5 for the 2012 season. She placed third in the all-around, first on balance beam and second on uneven bars and floor exercise at the State Championships. Brianna continued competing level 5 in 2013 where she placed first in the all-around with a 37.225, first on balance beam and second on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships.

Brianna moved to Gymnastics Unlimited Inc. in Jacksonville following her level 5 season in 2013. She skipped level 6 and level 7 and quickly moved up to level 8 for the 2015 season. At the 2015 State Championships, she placed fifth on balance beam and seventh on floor exercise. Brianna continued competing level 8 in 2016. At the State Championships, she finished second in the all-around with a 37.300 and third on uneven bars and floor exercise. A week before Region 8 Championships, Brianna broke her finger. Brianna and her coach worked quickly to modify her routines. She competed in three events and placed in each one! She finished first on balance beam, sixth on vault and seventh on floor exercise.

In 2017 as a level 9 gymnast, Brianna finished first in the all-around with a 37.725, first on balance beam, second on vault and third on uneven bars and floor exercise. She had a great meet at the Region 8 Championships, finishing first in the all-around with a 37.675, first on balance beam, second on vault and third on floor exercise. Brianna qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Lansing, MI where she placed sixth in the all-around with a 37.450, fifth on balance beam, seventh on vault and eighth on uneven bars.

Brianna moved up to level 10 for the 2018 season. She placed seventh in the all-around and sixth on uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished eighth on balance beam. In 2019, Brianna placed fifth on floor exercise at the State Championships and sixth on balance beam at the Region 8 Championships. In 2020, Brianna qualified to the Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Brianna trains 20-25 hours per week at Gymnastics Unlimited Inc. in Jacksonville, FL under coaches Lisa Beadle, Ashanee Dickerson and Martin Barraclough. She is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals in 2019 and hold her regional balance beam champion title. Her long-term goal is to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
