Caitlyn started gymnastics at a small gym named Wendy’s Gymnastics in a little class. She fell in love with the sport and joined pre-team at Universal Gymnasts, Inc. in Hilliard, OH and has been there ever since. As a level 4 gymnast in 2012, Caitlyn won the uneven bars title at the State Championships. She moved up to level 5 in 2013, finishing fourth in the all-around and first on floor exercise at the State Championships.

Caitlyn competed level 7 in 2014 where she placed second in the all-around with a 37.425 and first on uneven bars at the State Championships. She moved up to level 8 for the next three seasons. She qualified to the 2015 State Championships but only competed on one event, uneven bars where she placed eighth. In 2016, Caitlyn finished second in the all-around with a 37.300 and third on all events. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships, finishing fourth in the all-around with a 37.650 and fourth on vault. During Caitlyn's third and final season as a level 8 in 2017, she grabbed gold medals on uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around with a 37.625 at the State Championships. At the Region 5 Championships, she finished third in the all-around with a 37.550 and first on vault.

As a level 9 gymnast in 2018, Caitlyn placed second in the all-around, second on floor exercise and third on vault and uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 5 Championships, Caitlyn finished sixth in the all-around, second on uneven bars and fourth on floor exercise. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Rochester, NY where she placed in the top ten in the all-around and fifth on vault. Caitlyn was unable to compete in 2019 due to an injury.

Caitlyn trains 20 hours per week at Universal Gymnasts, Inc. in Hilliard, OH under coaches Dave Anthony, Natalia Lashenova and Trevor O’Hara. Caitlyn is working hard to become a successful level 10 gymnast as well as to compete for a college gymnastics team.
