Chelsea was always trying to do cartwheels and flips at home, so she and her friend started taking gymnastics classes for fun when she was seven years old. Chelsea fell in love with the sport and started her gymnastics career at 1st Class Gymnastics in Annapolis, MD. In 2016 as a level 7 gymnast, she placed second in the all-around with a 37.400 and third on uneven bars at the State Championships. She moved up to level 8 for the 2017 season, finishing first in the all-around with a 37.500 and first on vault, balance beam and floor exercise at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships, finishing third in the all-around with a 37.425 and fourth on uneven bars and floor exercise.

Chelsea was unable to compete in 2018 due to an injury. She also moved to Docksiders Gymnastics in Millersville, MD that season. Chelsea had a great 2019 season as a level 9 gymnast, finishing third on uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, Chelsea finished third in the all-around with a 37.200 and first on uneven bars. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Kissimmee, FL, finishing second in the all-around with a 37.375, second on uneven bars and fifth on floor exercise. She was named to America's Top 100 on uneven bars.

Chelsea moved up to level 10 for the 2020 season. She qualified to the State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Chelsea placed sixth in the all-around and fourth on balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships, finishing ninth overall and sixth on balance beam. Chelsea was an alternate for the Junior Olympic Nationals.

When Chelsea is not training 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, baking and archery. She is an honor student at South River High School where she is in AP Capstone program.
