Dahlia started gymnastics at the age of three because she was climbing and jumping all over. Her parents thought it was logical to start her in gymnastics so she could have a safe place to burn off energy. Dahlia was the 2015 Level 5 NY State Uneven Bars Silver Medalist and 2016 Level 7 NY State Uneven Bars and Floor Exercise Medalist.
In 2018, Dahlia took home a silver medal on vault at the Level 8 State Championships and qualified to the Region 6 Championships. She moved up to level 9 for the 2019 season where she placed sixth on vault and floor exercise and in the top ten in the all-around at the Region 6 Championships. In 2020, Dahlia was unable to qualify to the State Championships due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Dahlia was quarantined due to COVID-19 exposure and could not participate in a qualifying meet she was scheduled to be in right before the State Championships.
Dahlia took home a bronze medal on balance beam at the 2022 Level 10 State Championships. At the Region 6 Championships, she finished sixth in the all-around and third on vault and balance beam. She qualified to the Level 10 national Championships in Mesa, AZ. In 2023, Dahlia won the uneven bars title at the Level 10 State Championships. She qualified to the Level 10 Nationals after finishing fifth in the all-around and second on uneven bars at the Region 6 Championships.
When Dahlia isn't busy training over 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys cooking, baking, painting, crocheting and swimming. She is the daughter to Robin and Vishal Jhaveri and she has a brother, Dylan and a sister, Danika. Currently, Dahlia is an honor student at John Glenn High School and she will graduate in 2024.
