Danielle started taking gymnastics classes at First State Gymnastics in Newark, DE when she was five years old. She is one of six children and her sisters were in dance, but Danielle saw gymnastics on television and wanted to try it. She was asked to be part of team when she was six years old. She was the 2015 Level 7 State Vault Champion. In 2016, Danielle earned silver medals in the all-around and on all events at the Level 8 State Championships and qualified to the Regionals.

She was the alternate for the Level 9 Eastern Nationals. 2018 was Danielle's first year as a level 10 gymnast. She earned a bronze medal on vault with a 9.625 at the Region 7 Championships. In 2019, Danielle placed second on vault and fourth in the all-around at the State Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals after finishing eighth in the all-around and first on floor exercise at the Region 7 Championships.

Danielle qualified to the 2020 Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.
