Elise started gymnastics in a preschool gymnastics class because she had so much energy and loved to jump, climb and run. She was soon invited to join the Little Hot Shots group. She has been training at Capital Gymnastics National Training Center in Burke, VA her whole gymnastics career. As a level 4 gymnast in 2010, Elise finished second in the all-around with a 37.650 and first on floor exercise at the State Championships. Elise moved up to level 5 in 2011 where she placed third in the all-around with a 37.475 and second on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships. As a level 6 gymnast in 2012, Elise finished third in the all-around with a 37.450, first on floor exercise and second on balance beam at the State Championships.

Elise moved up to level 7 for the 2013 season, finishing second in the all-around with a 38.300 and third on vault, balance beam and floor exercise. Elise had a great season as a level 8 gymnast in 2014 where she finished first in the all-around with a 37.975 and first on balance beam and floor exercise at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships, finishing sixth in the all-around with a 37.450, third on floor exercise and fourth on vault.

As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2015, Elise won the uneven bars title with a 9.300 at the State Championships, her only event. She did all-around at the Region 7 Championships where she earned a gold medal on uneven bars with a 9.500. Elise continued competing level 9 in 2016. At the State Championships, she finished first in the all-around with a 38.525 and first on uneven bars and floor exercise. Elise placed first in the all-around with a 37.850, first on uneven bars and second on vault and floor exercise at the Region 7 Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in Virginia Beach, VA where she placed second in the all-around with a 37.775, first on uneven bars, third on vault and fourth on floor exercise.

Elise moved up to level 10 for the 2017 season. She placed second in the all-around with a 37.275 and second on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, Elise finished fourth in the all-around and second on vault and floor exercise. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Indianapolis, IN, where she placed 11th on vault with a 9.600 out of 56 gymnasts. In 2018, Elise earned a silver medal on balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she finished fourth in the all-around with a 37.450, second on vault and third on balance beam. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Cincinnati, OH, finishing ninth on floor exercise. In 2019, Elise was the State Balance Beam Champion. At the Region 7 Championships, she placed seventh in the all-around and third on floor exercise. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Indianapolis, IN, finishing in the top 15 on floor exercise.

Elise trains 24 hours per week at Capital Gymnastics NTC in Burke, VA under coaches Tatiana Perskaia, Jose Teran, Victor Vetrov and Marina Gerom. Her long-term goal is to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
