Ella Wilson was born on August 29, 2003 in Wisconsin to Brian and Kari. She has a brother Brooks and a dog named Tucker. Currently, Ella is a 4.0 honor student at DeForest Area High School and will graduate in 2021.

Ella’s parents were both collegiate athletes and exposed her to a variety of sports at an early age. By the time she was eight years old, Ella’s passion for gymnastics took over and she decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps focusing her time and energy on gymnastics.

Ella competed level 9 in 2018. Accomplishments from the season she was most proud of include: third in the all-around at Wisconsin State Meet, second in the all-around and first on balance beam at Region 4 Championships, 12th in the all-around at the Western Nationals and hitting four for four with a season high 37.325. As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2019, Ella placed seventh on vault at the State Championships. In 2020, Ella qualified to the Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Ella trains 20-22 hours per week at M&M Gymnastics in New Berlin, WI under coaches Mike Berte, April Schreiner and Chellsie Memmel. She plans to continue her gymnastic and academic career in college.
