Emily started gymnastics around the age of two when her mom put her in mommy and me classes, to improve her coordination and strength. As Emily continued to take gymnastics classes, she started to realize her love for the sport, which has helped her to want to continue with gymnastics throughout the years. Emily has been training at KC Elite Gymnastics in Lenexa, KS since seven years old.
As a level 6 gymnast in 2018, Emily placed first on vault, fourth on balance beam and fifth in the all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level 7 for the 2019 season, finishing fourth on floor exercise and fifth on vault at the State Championships. Emily qualified to the 2020 Level 8 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Emily placed third on vault at the Level 9 State Championships.
When Emily isn't busy training over 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys reading, baking, hanging out with her friends, biking, diving and painting. Currently, Emily is an honor student at Blue Valley Northwest High School and she will graduate in 2023.
