Erin began her gymnastics career in a mommy and me class when she was two years old. She always had a natural inclination for gymnastics and there was no getting her out of it from that point on. Erin transitioned to focus seriously with learning competition gymnastics at the age of three and started her career at Champions United, but found her home at Willmoor Gymnastics in New Jersey when she was nine years old.

In 2016, Erin participated in elite qualifiers and attended the Developmental Invitational camps at the U.S. National Training Center in Texas. As a level 9 gymnast in 2017, Erin placed 12th overall with a 37.000 and third on floor exercise at the Region 7 Championships. In 2018, Erin placed fourth on balance beam at the State Championships and in the top ten in the all-around with a 37.000 at the Region 7 Championships. During Erin's third and final year as a level 9 gymnast in 2019, Erin earned gold medals on uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around at the State Championships.She qualified to the Region 7 Championships where she placed fourth on uneven bars.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2021, Erin placed fourth in the all-around and fourth on balance beam at the Region 7 Championships. This qualified Erin to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL.

When Erin isn't busy training 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, baking, cooking, taking her dog on walks and babysitting. Erin is the daughter to Deborah and Mark Flynn and she has three siblings, Sarah, Craig and Sean and a dog named Harley. Currently, Erin is an honor student at Rancocas Valley Regional High School and she will graduate in 2023. Erin is in the top 15% of her class. She is a member of Model UN and Key Club.
