Eryn's mom enrolled Eryn into recreational classes when she was three years old so she could have a safe and fun environment to burn off extra energy. She started her gymnastics career at Dayton Academy in Dayton, OH. She and her family relocated to Tennessee and she started training at Gymnastics Center of Chattanooga. Eryn was the 2016 Level 6 TN State Vault Champion and All-Around Silver Medalist (37.450). Eryn had a great level 7 season in 2017 where she grabbed gold medals on vault, uneven bars and in the all-around with a 37.525 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing seventh in the all-around with a 37.875, fourth on vault and fifth on floor exercise.

Eryn skipped level 8 and quickly moved up to level 9 for the 2018 season. Eryn placed first on uneven bars and fifth in the all-around at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships in 2018 and 2019. In 2020, Eryn placed in the top four in every meet she competed in and qualified to the State Championships. She was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Eryn placed fifth on balance beam with a 9.400 at the Level 10 State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing ninth on balance beam.

When Eryn isn't busy training 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys knitting and cooking. She volunteers at the local food pantry/clothing bank for low income families. She is the daughter to Lynette and Barry Rataiczak and she has a brother, Devin, a sister, Brianna, three dogs and a cat. Currently, Eryn is homeschooled through Acellus Academy and she will graduate in 2024.
