Grace was registered in Mommy and Me classes in 2008. When she was offered a spot of pre-team, her parents accepted because both of Grace's brothers were
involved in travel sports and they wanted Grace to have something special too. At the beginning of Grace's gymnastics career, she trained at Racine Gymnastics Center in Racine, WI. She was the 2012 Level 4 WI State All-Around Bronze Medalist, 2013 Level 5 WI State Floor Exercise Champion and 2014 Level 6 WI State Floor Exercise Silver Medalist. Grace skilled level 7 and moved up to level 8 for the 2015 season. At the 2015 Region 4 Championships, Grace placed second in the all-around with a 37.225 and first on balance beam.

Following her 2015 season, Grace moved to Scamp's Gymnastics in Kenosha, WI. She competed level 8 in 2016 where she placed first in the all-around with a 37.400 and first on uneven bars at the State Championships. She made the Wisconsin "Super 8" team for the Region 4 Championships. At Regionals, she finished third on uneven bars and scored a 37.450 in the all-around. As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2017, Grace qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals after finishing fifth in the all-around and fourth on uneven bars and balance beam. In 2019, Grace placed first on uneven bars and third in the all-around at the Level 9 State Championships. At the Region 4 Championships, she finished sixth in the all-around and fifth on uneven bars. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals for the second time where she placed third in the all-around with a 37.225 and first on uneven bars.

Grace qualified to the 2020 Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Grace placed third in the all-around and second on vault and balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals after finishing third in the all-around and second on vault at the Region 4 Championships. At the Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL, Grace placed 17th on vault with a 9.450 out of 56 gymnasts. In the fall of 2021, Grace moved to Altius Gymnastics in Franklin, WI.

In 2022, Grace placed third in the all-around and first on balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 4 Championships where she placed sixth in the all-around and fifth on uneven bars and floor exercise.

When Grace isn't busy training 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys surfing and interior decorating. She is the daughter to Eric and Kim Christensen and she has two brothers, Henry and Frank and a yellow lab named Belle. Currently, Grace is an honor student at Walden III High and Middle School and she will graduate in 2023. She has been on Honor Roll since 2016.
