Bella's older sister, Brianna, was on a gymnastics team and Bella wanted to do everything her big sister did. She started taking Tiny Might classes in Illinois at the age of three and moved up consistently making the level 4 team when she turned seven years old. Bella's family relocated to North Carolina after her first competitive season and she joined Sonshine Gymnastics as a level 5 gymnast.

As a level 7 gymnast in 2016, Bella placed third in the all-around with a 37.650, second on floor exercise and third on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing third in the all-around with a 37.650 and fourth on uneven bars and balance beam. Bella moved up to level 8 for the 2017 season where she placed second on floor exercise and eighth in the all-around at the State Championships. She finished third in the all-around and third on floor exercise at the Region 8 Championships.

In 2018 as a level 9 gymnast, Bella finished third on floor exercise and seventh in the all-around with a 37.275 at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she placed in the top ten in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise. Bella was named to America's Top 100 on floor exercise in level 9. As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2019, Bella earned a silver medal on floor exercise with a 9.525 at the State Championships, qualifying to Regionals. In 2020, Bella qualified to the Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Bella was limited to a few events in 2021 due an injury. She came back to competing all-around for the 2022 season. She placed third on floor exercise at the Level 10 State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, Bella placed seventh in the all-around and eighth on floor exercise. She qualified to the Level 10 National Championships in Mesa, AZ where she placed 18th on floor exercise with a 9.625 in a very tough group of competitors.

When Bella is not training over 25 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys surfing and skating. She is an honor student at Green Level High School. She was a member of National Junior Honor Society.
