Jacqueline's best friends were doing gymnastics classes together on Saturday mornings and asked Jacqueline to join them. Jacqueline fell in love with the sport and joined Rebound Gymnastics East Elite gymnastics team in New Jersey in 2012.

Jacqueline was the 2015 Level 6 NJ State All-Around Bronze Medalist and 2016 Level 7 NJ State Uneven Bars Bronze Medalist. She skipped level 8 and quickly moved up to level 9 for the 2017 season. She earned a silver medal on balance beam at the Region 7 Championships. She also participated in National Elite Qualifiers in HOPES.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2018, Jacqueline placed fifth on floor exercise at the State Championships and seventh on floor exercise at the Region 7 Championships. Jacqueline passed junior elite compulsory score at the National Elite Qualifier. Jacqueline was unable to compete in 2019 due to an injury and 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Jacqueline placed first in the all-around, first on floor exercise and second on uneven bars at the State Championships, qualifying to Region 7 Championships.

When Jacqueline has time outside of gymnastics, she enjoys training dogs, cooking, gardening and horseback riding. She is the only child to John and Denise Tunney and she has a golden retriever. Currently, Jacqueline is an honor student at Pearson Online Academy and she will graduate from high school in 2023.
