Jamie followed her older sister into gymnastics at four years old at Sonshine Gymnastics in Holly Springs, NC and has been there ever since. As a level 4 gymnast in 2010, Jamie finished first in the all-around and first on uneven bars and balance beam at the State Championships. In 2011 as a level 5 gymnast, she earned a bronze medal on balance beam at the State Championships.

Jamie skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2013 season. She placed first in the all-around with a 38.450 and first on uneven bars and floor exercise. She was on the North Carolina State Team for the Region 8 Championships where she placed seventh in the all-around with a 38.475 and fifth on balance beam. In 2014 as a level 8 gymnast, Jamie placed fourth in the all-around with a 37.025 and third on balance beam at the State Championships. As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2015, Jamie qualified to the Region 8 Championships. In 2016, she placed fifth on balance beam and sixth on uneven bars and floor exercise at the State Championships, qualifying to Regionals.

In 2017 as a first-year level 10 gymnast, Jamie finished fourth in the all-around and sixth on vault, uneven bars and balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she placed sixth in the all-around and sixth on uneven bars. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Indianapolis, IN where she went 4 for 4. In 2018, Jamie had a nagging ankle injury that kept her from competing most of the season.

Jamie trains 24 hours per week at Sonshine Gymnastics in Holly Springs, NC under coaches Heidi and Milan Stanovich. Her long-term goal is to obtain a Division I college scholarship.
