Jenna started taking gymnastics classes when she was three years old and she instantly loved it. She started her competitive gymnastics career at IK Gymnastics in Chicago, IL. Following her 2016 season, she moved to C.I.T.Y. Club Gymnastics Academy in Chicago, IL. As a level 6 gymnast in 2017, Jenna placed fifth on vault at the State Championships. She moved up to level 7 for the 2018 season where she placed eighth in the all-around with a 37.275 and sixth on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 5 Championships, finishing sixth in the all-around with a 37.250.
In 2019, Jenna moved up to level 8. She placed second on floor exercise and fifth in the all-around with a 37.175 at the State Championships. At the Region 5 Championships, Jenna finished second in the all-around and third on floor exercise. Jenna was selected to be one of six members of the USA Juniors Girls’ Gymnastics Team for the 14th Pan American Maccabi Games which took place July 5-15, 2019 in Mexico City, Mexico. In 2020, Jenna moved up to level 9 where she qualified to the State Championships but was unable to compete in the post-season due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Jenna placed fifth on floor exercise and sixth on vault at the Level 9 State Championships.
In 2022, Jenna placed second on vault with a 9.475 at the Level 9 State Championships and sixth on vault with a 9.450 at the Region 5 Championships.
When Jenna isn't busy training over 23 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, shopping and working out. She is the daughter to Julie and Jim Coffman and she has two siblings, Alana and Noah. Currently, Jenna is a student at Whitney Young Magnet High School and she will graduate in 2023.
