Kaydon Sutton was born on February 14, 2004 in Springfield, MO to Andy and Keri Sutton. She has an older brother, Noah, a younger brother, Rylan, a dog named Bella and a cat, Snowball. Currently, Kaydon is an honor student at Ozark Junior High School and she will graduate from high school in 2022. During Kaydon's spare time, she enjoys reading, writing and shopping.

Kaydon's mom enrolled her into gymnastics for fun when she was four years old at Springfield Gymnastics in Springfield, MO. She fell in love with the sport and has not stopped since! She moved to Gold Medal Gymnastics in Republic, MO following her level 3 season in 2011 and has been there ever since. As a level 6 gymnast in 2013, Kaydon finished second in the all-around, first on uneven bars and second on vault at the State Championships.

In 2015 as a level 7 gymnast, Kaydon finished fourth in the all-around with a 37.600, second on vault and third on floor exercise. She moved up to level 8 for the 2016 season. At the State Championships, she finished third in the all-around and second on floor exercise. She qualified to the Region 4 Championships, finishing fourth in the all-around and second on vault and uneven bars.

As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2017, Kaydon placed fourth on uneven bars and fifth on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Boise, ID after finishing eighth in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise at the Region 4 Championships. Kaydon continued competing level 9 in 2018 but was unable to compete most of the season due to an injury.

Kaydon trains 25 hours per week at Gold Medal Gymnastics in Republic, MO under coaches Cash and Sara McGowan. She is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals in 2019. Her long-term goal is to compete for a Division I college gymnastics team.
