Kiera started gymnastics in 2014 at the age of seven. She was involved in multiple activities such as cheer, dance and track. Kiera decided that she wanted to start taking tumbling classes so that she could learn how to turn flips. After one year of tumbling, Kiera wanted to try recreational gymnastics just for fun. They visited Houston Gymnastics Academy (HGA) to try out for the recreational group to see which group she would be a part of. After tryouts, one of the coaches approached Kiera's mom and said that Kiera was too advanced for recreational gymnastics and they wanted her to be part of the women’s team. Kiera accepted the invite and started as a level 3 gymnast for her first year of gymnastics at HGA. She then changed gyms to World Champion Center in Spring, TX to compete as a level 6 gymnast under coaches Terry and Tamara Walker. She placed fourth in the all-around with a 38.250 and first on uneven bars with a 9.650 at the 2016 Level 6 State Championships.

Following her level 6 season, Kiera joined Stars Gymnastics Academy in Houston, TX. She moved up to level 7 for the 2017 season where she placed second in the all-around with a 38.475 and first on uneven bars with a 9.800 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships, finishing second in the all-around with a 37.875 and third on floor exercise with a 9.600. She was named to America's Top 100 on uneven bars. In 2018 as a level 8 gymnast, Kiera finished second in the all-around with a 37.800 and first on vault and floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she finished fourth in the all-around and first on vault and uneven bars. She was named to America's Top 100 on vault (3x), uneven bars and in the all-around. Kiera qualified to hopes pre-elite and to the Hopes Classic. However, she was unable to compete at the Hopes Classic due to an injury.

Kiera competed as a level 9 gymnast in 2019. She earned a bronze medal on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals after finishing seventh in the all-around and fourth on vault at the Region 3 Championships. At the Nationals in Spokane, WA, Kiera finished seventh on vault out of 28 gymnasts. Kiera qualified to the 2020 Level 9 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

When Kiera is not training over 30 hours per week in the gym, she enjoys traveling to different countries, doing art projects, dancing and playing with her Chihuahua named Belvedere. Kiera loves dogs! She goes to the shelter every Sunday to walk the dogs and her family foster dogs occasionally. She currently maintains straight A's at Texas Connections Academy and she is a member of National Junior Honor Society.
