Lani Grace currently resides in Sherman, TX with her mom and dad, both elementary teachers, and her dog, her kitties, and her cool bearded dragon. She dearly loved her older brother, Zachary, who passed away recently as he battled leukemia. Lani Grace started gymnastics at the age of three because she was full of energy, quite flexible and liked to climb. She loved hanging from the monkey bars at the park and mastered them quickly. She began her gymnastics journey as a member of competitive recreations team at a local gym. In August 2014, Lani Grace moved to Zenith Elite Gymnastics in McKinney, TX. She successfully competed her first Junior Olympic season as a level 4 gymnast.

Lani Grace was the 2015 Level 5 Texas State Balance Beam and Floor Exercise Champion, 2016 Level 7 Texas State Vault Champion, 2016 Level 7 Regional Floor Exercise Champion and 2017 Level 8 Texas State Uneven Bars Champion. At the 2017 Region 3 Championships in level 8, Lani Grace placed fourth in the all-around and third on uneven bars and balance beam. She was named to America's Top 100 on uneven bars, floor exercise and in the all-around in level 8. Lani Grace competed level 9 for the next two seasons. She earned a bronze medal on floor exercise at the 2018 State Championships and qualified to the Region 3 Championships. In 2019, Lani Grace placed second on balance beam and fourth on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, Lani Grace finished second in the all-around and first on balance beam and floor exercise. She qualified to the Western Nationals in Spokane, WA where she placed second on floor exercise and seventh on balance beam. In the fall of 2019, Lani Grace moved to Texas Best Gymnastics in McKinney, TX. Lani Grace qualified to the 2020 Level 9 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.
