Leah was always upside down and flipping around the house. Therefore, her parents decided to enroll her into gymnastics for fun at Rowland Ballard School of Gymnastics in Humble, TX when she was six years old. As a level 5 gymnast in 2012, Leah finished seventh in the all-around with a 38.325 at the State Championships. She skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2014 season where she qualified to the State Championships. In the summer of 2014, Leah moved to AIM Athletics in The Woodlands, TX and has been there ever since.

In 2015 as a level 8 gymnast, Leah finished fourth in the all-around with a 38.275, first on floor exercise and fourth on uneven bars at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships where she scored a 37.500 in the all-around and second on vault and balance beam. Leah moved up to level 9 for the 2016 season. At the Region 3 Championships, she placed second in the all-around with a 38.275, first on vault, third on floor exercise and fourth on balance beam. Leah qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Montana where she placed fifth in the all-around with a 37.300, first on vault and seventh on uneven bars. Leah was unable to compete in 2017 due to an injury.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2018, Leah finished fourth the all-around and first on vault with a 9.650 at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, Leah won the vault title with a 9.700 and placed fifth on floor exercise with a 9.375. In 2019, Leah placed first on vault, floor exercise and in the all-around with a 37.950 at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she finished first in the all-around with a 38.325 and first on balance beam and floor exercise. Leah qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Indianapolis, IN, finishing in the top 15 in the all-around with a 37.675, fifth on vault and seventh on balance beam.

Leah qualified to the 2020 Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. She was having a great season winning three invitationals including a 38.475 at Metroplex Challenge and 38.300 at Yellow Rose Invitational. In the summer of 2020, Leah moved to World Champions Centre in Spring, TX.

Leah trains 28 hours per week at World Champions Centre in Spring, TX under coaches Laurent Landi and Cecile Canqueteau-Landi. Leah is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals the next few years and to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
