Lily was watching the 2008 Olympics and wanted to be just like Shawn Johnson. She was put in mommy and me classes immediately after. She started her competitive gymnastics career at 5280 North Gymnastics in Colorado. She was the 2012 Level 5 CO State All-Around, Uneven Bars and Floor Exercise Champion, 2013 Level 5 CO State Uneven Bars Champion and 2014 Level 7 IA State Uneven Bars and Balance Beam Bronze Medalist. As a level 8 gymnast in 2015, Lily placed third on floor exercise at the State Championships and fourth in the all-around and fourth on uneven bars at the Region 4 Championships.
Lily qualified to the Region 3 Championships as a level 9 gymnast in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, she placed fourth in the all-around, second on vault and third on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she placed second in the all-around with a 37.225, first on floor exercise and second on vault and uneven bars. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Spokane, WA where she placed 13th overall, third on floor exercise and seventh on vault. Following her 2019 season, Lily and her family relocated to Austin, TX. Therefore, Lily started training at Austin Elite Gymnastics Training Center in Lakeway, TX. In 2020, Lily qualified to the Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. Lily placed fourth in the all-around at the 2021 Level 10 State Championships and ninth in the all-around and fifth on vault at the 2021 Region 3 Championships. She was an alternate for the Junior Olympic Nationals. In the summer of 2021, Lily moved to World Champions Centre in Spring, TX.
In 2022, Lily placed first on uneven bars and second on vault at the Level 10 State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she finished fourth in the all-around and second on vault. She qualified to the Level 10 National Championships in Mesa, AZ.
When Lily isn't busy training 20 hours each week, she enjoys cooking and reading, especially Marvel comics. Currently, she lives in Texas with her parents, Joe and Jill, two sisters, Catherine and Diane and two dogs. Lily is an honor student at The Woodlands High School and she will graduate in 2023. She is currently taking all AP classes.
