Madelyn began gymnastics at the age of 6. She was in a gymnastics class that was just for fun and the coaches could instantly see her raw talent and strength. Within six months she was asked to try out for the competitive team and has been competing since the age of seven. She was the 2015 Level 3 OK State All-Around Champion (37.725), 2016 Level 5 OK State All-Around Champion (37.300), 2017 Level 7 OK All-Around Silver Medalist (38.000) and 2017 Level 7 Regional All-Around Bronze Medalist (38.325). Madelyn was named to America's Top 100 on uneven bars in levels 5 and 7.

In 2018, Madelyn skilled level 8 and moved up to level 9 at the age of ten. She placed fifth in the all-around at the State Championships and qualified to the Region 3 Championships. Madelyn earned the Perseverance award by her gym and Betty Roberts Heart award by Oklahoma USAG. In 2019, Madelyn placed first on balance beam and second in the all-around at the State Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Spokane, WA after finishing fourth in the all-around and fifth on floor exercise at the Region 3 Championships. In 2020, Madelyn earned the Nadia Spirit award at the Nadia Comaneci Invitational. She qualified to the Level 9 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Madelyn moved up to level 10 for the 2022 season. She qualified to the Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to an injury. In 2023, Madelyn placed third in the all-around and second on vault and uneven bars at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships.

When Madelyn isn't busy training 30 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys reading, biking, hiking, playing with her dog and following current events & politics. She is an honor student at Central Middle School and she will graduate in 2025. She is a member of National Junior Honor Society and Student Council. She was the sixth grade student body president. She also volunteers at her church.
