Mahleea Werline was born on October 6, 2005 in California to Meylin and Scott Werline. She has a brother, Hunter and a bunny named Snowflake. During Mahleea's spare time, she enjoys drawing, sewing and swimming. Currently, Mahleea is an honor student at Jordan Christian Academy and she will graduate from high school in 2023.

Mahleea's parents wanted Mahleea to do something for fun, so they decided to enroll her into gymnastics when she was two years old. She trained under coach Alison Vaughn for over 12 years at Aftershock Gymnastics until 2020.

After a few successful level 6 meets, Mahleea began her first optional season in 2015. At the Level 7 State Championships, she won the uneven bars title with a 9.600. She qualified to the Level 7 Regionals where she placed seventh in the all-around with a 37.300, first on uneven bars with a 9.750 and second on floor exercise scoring a 9.725. In 2016 as a level 8 gymnast, Mahleea won the floor exercise title with a 9.700. She qualified to the Region 1 Championships, finishing second on balance beam and floor exercise and third on uneven bars.

Mahleea moved up to level 9 for the 2017 season. At the State Championships, she finished third on floor exercise and fourth on vault. She qualified to the Region 1 Championships, finishing in the top ten in the all-around. She was alternate for the Level 9 Western Nationals. Mahleea started off 2018 season by obtaining her hopes pre-elite compulsory score with a 34.850. At the Level 9 State Championships, she finished second on uneven bars with a 9.525 and ninth overall. Mahleea did well at the Region 1 Championships, finishing sixth in the all-around with a 37.050 and third on floor exercise. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Salt City Lake, UT where she placed in the top ten in the all-around with a 37.275 and sixth on floor exercise.

Mahleea moved up to level 10 for the 2019 season. She qualified to the Region 1 Championships. She also obtained her junior elite compulsory score at Rocky Mountain Elite Qualifier. In 2020, she qualified to the 2020 Level 10 State Championships and obtained junior elite compulsory score but was unable to finish the season due to COVID-19 pandemic. In the summer of 2020, Mahleea moved to Salcianu Elite Gymnastics in Henderson, NV.

Mahleea trains at Salcianu Elite Gymnastics in Henderson, NV under coaches Tammy Biggs, Tammy Salcianu and Trevor Rubino. Mahleea dreams of traveling the world as an elite gymnast and representing the United States at the 2024 Olympics. Mahleea's long-term goal is to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
