Regina started gymnastics when she was around five years old at TAGS Gymnastics Eden Prairie, MN in recreational classes. Regina's mom was a former gymnast where she was on the Mexican National Team. Gymnastics and fitness were part of her life at an early age, since her aunt and uncle were also both on the Mexican National Team for gymnastics and her grandpa went to the Olympics for long jump. After Regina's first season of level 4 at TAGS, she decided to switch to Legacy gymnastics and has been there ever since.

Regina was the 2016 Level 4 MN State Uneven Bars Champion and All-Around Silver Medalist. She tested out of level 5, skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2018 season. She finished third in the all-around and second on vault and floor exercise at the Level 7 State Championships. As a level 8 gymnast in 2019, Regina placed second in the all-around and first on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 4 Championships, finishing sixth in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise.

In 2020, Regina qualified to the Level 9 State Championships but was unable to compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She continued competing level 9 in 2021. She finished third in the all-around and first on uneven bars at the State Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals after finishing sixth in the all-around and second on uneven bars at the Region 4 Championships.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2022, Regina placed ninth in the all-around and seventh on floor exercise at the Region 4 Championships. She was an alternate for the Level 10 Nationals. In 2023, Regina qualified to the Region 4 Championships where she placed fourth on balance beam and floor exercise. Regina missed most of the 2024 season due to an injury.

When Regina isn't busy training 20 hours each week in the gym, she takes singing lessons and enjoys reading. She is the oldest of three children to Patricia Procel and Mauricio Loria and she has two brothers, Patricio and Nicolas and a dog named Milo.
