Sydney Seabrooks was born on June 18, 2007 in Florida to Melody and David Seabrooks. She has two sisters, Savannah and Asia and one brother, Markis. Currently, Sydney is an honor student at Osceola Fundamental High School and she will graduate in 2025. She is currently taking all Honors/AP classes. Some of Sydney's school achievements include:

Sydney started gymnastics at the age of eight as an after-school program. After learning basic skills, she asked her mom if she could join the team program. She began her competitive gymnastics career at Apollo School of Gymnastics in Florida. She competed as a level 7 gymnast in 2018 where she placed second in the all-around with a 38.550 and first on uneven bars. She represented Team Florida at the Region 8 Championships where she finished 11th overall with a 37.950 and second on balance beam.

In 2019 as a level 8 gymnast, Sydney finished third in the all-around with a 37.750, second on vault and third on floor exercise at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing second in the all-around with a. 37.600 and first on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise. Sydney continued competing level 8 for the 2020 season where she qualified to the State Championships. She was unable to compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following her 2020 season, Sydney moved to LaFleur's Gymnastics in Largo, FL. She had a great level 9 season in 2021 where she swept the gold medals with a 38.500 in the all-around at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, Sydney finished third in the all-around and first on vault. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals where she won the all-around title with a 38.675! She also took home gold medals on vault, balance beam and floor exercise. As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2022, Sydney placed third in the all-around and second on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Level 10 Nationals after finishing second in the all-around and first on vault at the Region 8 Championships. At the Nationals in Mesa, AZ, Sydney placed 13th on floor exercise with a 9.500.

In 2023, Sydney placed fourth in the all-around with a 37.775 and second on uneven bars at the Region 8 Championships. She qualified to the Level 10 Nationals in Oklahoma City, OK where she placed ninth in the all-around with a 38.075 and sixth on uneven bars with a 9.750.
