Annie started taking gymnastics classes for fun at the age three at Wildfire Gymnastics in Lake Forest, CA. She was the 2016 Level 3 SoCal State Vault Champion, 2017 Level 4 SoCal State Vault Champion and 2018 Level 4 SoCal State Vault Silver Medalist. She skipped level 5 and moved up to level 6 for the 2020 season and level 8 for the 2021 season. Her seasons were cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a level 8 gymnast in 2022, Annie qualified to the Region 1 Championships where she placed fourth on uneven bars, sixth on vault and eighth overall. Following her 2022 season, she moved to Azarian U.S. Gymnastics Training Center in Aliso Viejo, CA. Annie moved up to level 9 for the 2023 season where she took home a gold medal on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 1 Championships, finishing fifth on vault and eighth on floor exercise.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2024, Annie placed third on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 1 Championships, she finished eighth in the all-around and third on floor exercise. She qualified to the Level 10 Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL. In 2025, Annie placed second on floor exercise with a 9.525 at the State Championships and seventh on floor exercise with a 9.450 at the Region 1 Championships.

When Annie isn't busy training 25 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys snowboarding. She is the daughter to Hui Xiong and Qiyin Lin and she has a brother, Jonathan and a sister, Anna. Currently, Annie is an honor student at Trabuco Hills High School and she will graduate from high school in 2026.
