Dallas's dad was a gymnast and team coach, so Dallas naturally was enrolled into gymnastics for fun when he was four years old. He fell in love with the sport and moved to team in one week and started competing level 5 not long after. He was the 2012 Level 6 Regional All-Around and Floor Exercise Silver Medalist. Following his level 6 season, he began training at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA) in Frisco, TX.

In 2015 as a level 8 gymnast, Dallas earned bronze medals on pommel horse, still rings, high bar and in the all-around. At the Region 3 Championships, he placed third in the all-around and second on parallel bars. This qualified Dallas to the Junior Olympic Nationals where he finished third overall and first on parallel bars. In 2016, Dallas qualified to the Level 8 Junior Olympic Nationals. Dallas moved up to level 9 for the 2017 season. He finished third in the all-around and first on parallel bars at the State Championships. Dallas was the 2017 Level 9 Regional Floor Exercise and Still Rings Champion and 2017 Junior Olympic National All-Around, Pommel Horse, Still Rings and Parallel Bars Champion.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2018, Dallas grabbed gold medals on pommel horse, parallel bars, high bar and in the all-around at the State Championships. He qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals after finishing second in the all-around and first on pommel horse and high bar at the Region 3 Championships. Dallas had a great 2019 season where he was the Regional Floor Exercise, Pommel Horse, Still Rings and All-Around Champion, Junior Olympic National Qualifier and Junior US National Qualifier (Pommel Horse Sixth Place Finish).

Dallas is two-time US JE National Team Member and 2020 Region 3 Elite Team Member. He competed in an international meet in London, England where he won the all-around title. He also placed first on high bar, pommel horse and parallel bars. Dallas also trained in China (2017) and Russia (2019).

Dallas Hale was born on October 18, 2002 in Arlington, TX to Dallas and Angela Hale. He has three sisters, Alyssa, Taylor and Kaitlin. Currently, Dallas is homeschooled and he will graduate from high school in 2021.
