Emily took a gymnastics class when she was eight years old and she fell in love with the sport. She began her gymnastics career at Severna Park Gymnastics in Arnold, MD. Following her 2018 season, she moved to All Pro Gymnastics in Elkridge, MD and has been there ever since. As a level 7 gymnast in 2020, Emily had a great season where she qualified to the Level 7 State Championships but she was unable to compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Emily was on the Maryland team at the National Judges Cup and she received a perfect 10.0 on floor that season.
In 2021, Emily tested out of level 8 and quickly moved up to level 9. She placed fifth on floor exercise at the 2021 Region 7 Championships. In 2022, Emily placed sixth in the all-around and third on floor exercise at the Region 7 Championships. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals where she placed ninth on balance beam. Emily continued competing level 9 in 2023, finishing second in the all-around and first on floor exercise at the State Championships and eighth in the all-around and second on balance beam and floor exercise at the Region 7 Championships. Emily was the alternate for the Level 9 Eastern Nationals.
Emily moved up to level 10 for the 2024 season. She placed seventh on vault at the State Championships and seventh on balance beam at the Region 7 Championships. Emily missed most of the 2025 season due to dislocated elbow.
When Emily isn't busy training over 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys to go swimming. She currently lives in Pasadena, MD with her parents, Jennifer and Bryan and a dachshund. Emily is an honor student at Chesapeake High School and she will graduate from high school in 2026.
