Gabby followed her older sister into gymnastics when she was five years old. She started taking recreational classes for fun at North Shore Gymnastics. Following her level 4 season in 2020, she moved to ACPR Gymnastics in Maryland and has been there ever since. She was the 2021 Level 5 MD State Floor Exercise Silver Medalist, 2022 Level 6 MD State Floor Exercise Junior C Gold Medalist and 2023 Level 6 MD State Floor Exercise Junior C Gold Medalist.

As a level. 7 gymnast in 2024, Gabby finished first on floor exercise, second on vault and first in the all-around with a 37.700 at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships, finishing eighth in the all-around with a 37.650, first on floor exercise and third on vault. Gabby moved up to level 8 for the 2025 season where she took home a silver medal on floor exercise at the State Championships.

When Gabby isn't busy training over 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys boating, tubing, baking, hiking and swimming. She is the daughter to Steve and Nancy Barr and she has a sister, Briana and a brother, Zach, two dogs and a cat. Currently, Gabby is in the Biomedical Science Program at Rising Sun High School and she will graduate in 2027. She is on distinguished honor roll and she is a member of National Honor Society.
