Isabella was enrolled in Mommy and Me classes at a local gym at 18 months old. She began her competitive gymnastics career at Win-Win Gymnastics in Odenton, MD and has been there ever since. She was the 2016 Level 4 MD State All-Around and Floor Exercise Champion, 2017 Level 6 MD State All-Around Bronze Medalist and 2018 Level 7 MD State All-Around and Vault Champion.

In 2019, Isabella skipped level 8 and quickly moved up to level 9. She placed fifth in the all-around and first on floor exercise at the State Championships. She was named alternate for the Level 9 Eastern Nationals after finishing ninth in the all-around, first on uneven bars and second on balance beam at the Region 7 Championships. Isabella was unable to compete in 2020 due to an injury. She came back in 2021 as a second-year level 9 gymnast. At the Region 7 Championships, she placed third in the all-around with a 37.150 and second on balance beam. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals.

Isabella decided to pursue acro & tumbling following her 2022 season. She moved to Emilia’s Acrobatics, Gymnastics, & Cheer (EAGC) in Laurel, MD.

When Isabella is not busy training in the gym, she enjoys riding her bike, baking and drawing. She is the daughter to Phil and Kelly Mullinix and she has a brother, Marshall and two dogs named Pip and Ruxin. Currently, Isabella is an honor student at Liberty University Online Academy and she will graduate in 2024.
