Isabel's grandmother had given Isabel and her sisters gymnastics classes as a Christmas present. She was still too young at that time but was able to do a lot of advanced things. Her gym started up a class for Isabel called the Kola Bears. Isabel trained at Gymnastics Academy of Atlanta in Kennesaw, GA for ten years. She started competing level 4 in 2013. Isabel went from level 4 to level 7, skipping 5 and 6.

As a level 7 gymnast, Isabel placed fourth on balance beam at the 2015 State Championships and sixth on vault at the 2016 State Championships. She moved up to level 8 for the 2017 season where she placed first on uneven bars and third on balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing eighth on uneven bars. In 2019 as al level 9 gymnast, Isabel placed second on floor exercise and fifth on uneven bars at the State Championships. She placed in the top eighth on uneven bars at the Region 8 Championships. In 2020, Isabel was unable to compete in the post-season due to cancelled events (COVID-19). Her 2020 season was highlighted with two all-around title and three individual event titles. She also qualified to floor event finals at Charleston Cup. In the summer of 2020, Isabel moved to Roswell Gymnastics in Roswell, GA.

Isabel moved up to level 10 for the 2021 season but was unable to compete all events due to an injury. In 2022, she finished fifth in the all-around and fourth on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships where she placed fifth on balance beam. Isabel competed as a balance beam specialist at the Level 10 National Championships in Mesa, AZ.

Isabel is the daughter to Alicia and Greg Scott. She has two older sisters, Hailee and Paige. Paige is also a gymnast at Southern Connecticut State University. Currently, Isabel is an honor student at Harrison High School and she will graduate in 2023.
