Jaden started her gymnastics training at 2.5 years old in a Mommy and Me class through the city recreational program. Jaden had incredible strength and balance and she could easily pull herself up and jump on the kitchen counter, could run down a grassy hill at full speed without falling, and soon after climb the monkey bars the full length. At the age of three, after much prompting from her paternal grandparents, Jaden began her formally gymnastics training. Jaden’s grandmother often said she had two-speeds, “Sleeping and running” and was often described as “Having lots of energy and unable to sit still.” Jaden loved gymnastics from the very start and when asked what she loved most about gymnastics she often said, “I love jumping in the pit.”

Jaden began her formal gymnastic training at Arizona Dynamics where she completed levels 2-4, scored out of level 5 and competed level 7. In 2018, Jaden made the Level 7 State Team after finishing second in the all-around with a 38.200 and first on balance beam and floor exercise at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 1 Championships where she finished sixth in the all-around with a 38.550 and fourth on uneven bars.

Following her level 7 season, Jaden joined Desert Lights Gymnastics where she entered the HOPES/elite training group. In 2019, she placed fourth in the all-around and second on floor exercise at the Level 8 State Championships. She qualified to the Region 1 Championships, finishing sixth on floor exercise and seventh on uneven bars. Jaden also obtained her compulsory score in HOPES. Jaden moved up to level 9 for the 2020 season but was unable to compete at the State Championships due to COVID-19 pandemic.

When Jaden isn't busy training over 25 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys painting, golfing and being with her friends. Jaden is the daughter to John and Sonia Perala and she has a brother, Cal and three dogs named Fluffy, Feliz and Saddie.
