Jurnee Lane was born on December 2, 2004 in Tennessee to Tony and Leeanne Lane. Jurnee is an honor student at Stewarts Creek High School and she will graduate from high school in 2023. When she has time outside of gymnastics, she enjoys painting, arts & crafts and playing with her dog, Zaylee.

Jurnee's mom was a gymnast and she thought gymnastics would be a good sport to enter for coordination. Jurnee started taking recreational gymnastics at the age of four at ETC Gymnastics in Murfreesboro, TN. Jurnee started competing level 4 in 2013 at the age of eight. At the State Championships, she won the all-around title with a 38.700, first on floor exercise and second on vault and balance beam. She skipped levels 5 and 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2015 season.

In 2015, Jurnee placed first in the all-around with a 38.300, first on uneven bars and second on vault at the 2015 Level 7 State Championships. She scored a 37.750 in the all-around and placed second on vault and third on uneven bars at the Region 8 Championships. Jurnee moved up to level 8 for the 2016 season. At the State Championships, she placed first in the all-around with a 37.875, first on floor exercise and third on vault and uneven bars. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, scoring a 37.525 in the all-around.

As a level 9 gymnast in 2017, Jurnee finished second in the all-around with a 37.475, second on vault and floor exercise and fourth on uneven bars and balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished ninth in the all-around, fifth on floor exercise and seventh on vault. She was the alternate for the Level 9 Eastern Nationals. Jurnee continued competing level 9 for the 2018 season. She only competed on balance beam and floor exercise most of the season due to a wrist injury. She came back in time for the Region 8 Championships in the all-around where she scored a 9.275 on floor exercise.

Jurnee moved up to level 10 for the 2019 season. She placed sixth in the all-around and third on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished in the top ten in the all-around and third on floor exercise. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals. In 2020, Jurnee qualified to the Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Jurnee placed fifth on uneven bars and eighth overall at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing 11th overall with a 37.275 and third on vault.

In 2022, June had a great level 10 season where she placed second in the all-around with a 38.675 and first on balance beam and floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished fourth in the all-around and third on uneven bars. She qualified to the Level 10 National Championships in Mesa, AZ, finishing fourth in the all-around with a 38.125 and first on floor exercise with a 9.825. Jurnee made the Level 10 National Team.

Jurnee trains 21-23 hours per week at Let it Shine Gymnastics in Franklin, TN under coaches Matt Baker, Marco Arguelles and Ashley Toda. Jurnee is working hard to become a successful level 10 gymnast as well as to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
