Kylee Joy Burton was born on November 5, 2003 in Texas to Tim and Courtney Burton. She has an older brother, Jake and a dog. Currently, Kylee is a student at Prestonwood Christian Academy (PCAplus) and she will graduate from high school in 2022. During Kylee's spare time, she enjoys drawing, baking and hanging out with her family and friends.

At the age of two, Kylee climbed all over the house and her parents wanted her to have a safe place where she could learn how to fall! She fell in love with the sport and quickly progressed at Infinite Bounds Gymnastics in Plano, TX. At the 2011 Level 5 State Championships, she placed fourth in the all-around with a 37.650, second on vault and third on floor exercise. She skipped level 6 and moved up to level 7 for the 2013 season. At the State Championships, Kylee placed 11th in the all-around with a 37.150 and first on vault.

Following Kylee's 2013 season, she moved to Kurt Thomas Gymnastics in Frisco, TX. She continued competing level 7 in 2014 where she placed first on floor exercise and scored a 37.475 in the all-around. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships, finishing first on vault and fourth on floor exercise. Kylee was named to America's Top 100 on vault (twice), balance beam, floor exercise (three times) and all-around.

As a level 8 gymnast in 2015, Kylee scored a 37.550 in the all-around and sixth on floor exercise. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships where she placed ninth in the all-around with a 38.050, second on floor exercise and sixth on balance beam. In 2016, Kylee placed first in the all-around with a 38.550 and first on vault, balance beam and floor exercise at the Level 8 State Championships. She had a great meet at the Region 3 Championships where she won the all-around title with a 38.800 and finished on first on uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise and second on vault. Kylee was named to America's Top 100 on uneven bars, balance beam (five times), floor exercise (three times) and all-around (three times). Kylee moved to Metroplex Gymnastics in Allen, TX following the 2016 season.

Kylee moved up to level 9 for the 2017 season. She placed first in the all-around with a 38.775, first on balance beam and second on uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she finished fourth in the all-around, first on floor exercise and second on vault and uneven bars. This qualified Kylee to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Boise, ID. At the Nationals, Kylee won the all-around title with a 38.425! She also placed first on balance beam and floor exercise, second on vault and fifth on uneven bars.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2018, Kylee placed in the top ten in the all-around and ninth on uneven bars at the Region 3 Championships. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Cincinnati, OH. Kylee won the all-around title at the 2019 State Championships. At the 2019 Region 3 Championships, she placed fourth on floor exercise.

Kylee trains 31 hours per week at Zenith Elite Gymnastics in McKinney, TX under coaches Simona Iuga-Rytzell and Tammy De Guzman. Kylee would like to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals as well as to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
