Lauren started her competitive gymnastics career at Capital Gymnastics in Cedar Park, TX where she trained for 12 years. She placed fifth in the all-around at the 2012 Level 6 State Championships, fourth on vault with a 9.600 at the 2014 Level 7 Regionals, second in the all-around and first on vault at the 2016 Level 8 State Championships and sixth in the all-around and third on vault at the 2016 Level 8 Regionals. Lauren competed level 9 for the next two seasons. She placed fourth in the all-around and fourth on balance beam and floor exercise at the 2017 State Championships, qualifying to Regionals.

In 2018, Lauren placed second in the all-around and second on vault, balance beam and floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she finished second in the all-around and first on vault and balance beam. Lauren qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Salt Lake City, UT where she placed ninth on vault and floor exercise. In the summer of 2018, Lauren left her long-time gym and joined Austin Elite Gymnastics Center in Lakeway, TX. Lauren had a great season in 2019! She grabbed gold medals on vault, balance beam and in the all-around with a 38.525 at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, she placed third the all-around, first on vault and second on floor exercise. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Spokane, WA, finishing second in the all-around with a 37.450, first on vault and balance beam and second on floor exercise.

Lauren moved up to level 10 for the 2020 season. She qualified to the Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Lauren trains 20 hours per week at Austin Elite Gymnastics Center in Lakeway, TX under coach Mike Hillin. She is working hard to qualify to the Junior Olympic Nationals the next few years and to compete for a college gymnastics team.
