Leanna was a very active child so her parents decided that gymnastics would be a fun activity. She began taking gymnastics classes at a local gym at Club Champion Gymnastics in California. Leanna was the 2015 Level 3 SoCal State All-Around, Vault & Uneven Bars Bronze Medalist, 2016 Level 4 SoCal State Balance Beam Champion, 2018 Level 6 SoCal State Balance Beam Silver Medalist and 2018 Level 6 Regional Floor Exercise Champion.

In 2019 as a level 7 gymnast, Leanna placed third on vault and sixth in the all-around with a 37.300 at the State Championships. At the Region 1 Championships, she placed fifth in the all-around with a 37.500 and second on vault and floor exercise. In 2020, Leanna qualified to the Level 8 State Championships but was unable to compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the summer of 2020, Leanna moved to The Klub Gymnastics in Los Angeles, CA. As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2021, Leanna qualified to the Region 1 Championships. In 2022, Leanna took home a bronze medal on uneven bars at the State Championships. At the Region 1 Championships, Leanna placed sixth in the all-around with a 37.100 and second on uneven bars. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Salt City Lake, UT where she placed 14th overall with a 37.000 and fifth on uneven bars. Leanna placed second on vault at the 2023 Level 9 State Championships and eighth on vault at the 2023 Region 1 Championships.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2024, Leanna placed seventh on balance beam and ninth on vault at the State Championships and qualified to the Region 1 Championships.

Leanna is an honor student at Mesrobian Armenian School and she will graduate from high school in 2026. When she has time outside of gymnastics, she enjoys baking and painting.
