Liberty followed her older sister into gymnastics at the age of five. She has been training at Rock Gymnastics in Toms River, NJ her whole gymnastics career. Liberty was the 2017 Level 5 NJ State All-Around and Uneven Bars Champion and 2018 Level 6 NJ State Uneven Bars Bronze Medalist. As a level 7 gymnast in 2019, Liberty placed 12th overall with a 37.550 and fifth on balance beam at the State Championships. Liberty moved up to level 8 for the 2020 season. She qualified to the State Championships but her season was cut short due to COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, she continued competing level 8 where she placed fifth on uneven bars and eighth overall at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships, finishing eighth in the all-around with a 37.300 and first on uneven bars. Her uneven bars score at Regionals landed her onto America's Top 100 in level 8.

As a first-year level 9 gymnast in 2022, Liberty placed fifth on balance beam with a 9.300 and in the top ten in the all-around at the Region 7 Championships.

When Liberty isn't busy training 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys surfing and going to the beach. She is the daughter to Amy and Michael Kenney and she has an older sister, Abigail who is also a gymnast at Rock Gymnastics. Liberty is an honor student at Brick Memorial High School and she will graduate from high school in 2026.
