At the age of 3, Lila followed her older sister into gymnastics. She fell in love with the sport and has never looked back. She has been training at Gymnastics Academy of Atlanta in Kennesaw, GA her whole gymnastics career. She competed level 4 in 2016, scored out of level 5 in 2017 and quickly moved up to level 6 for the 2018 season.

As a level 7 gymnast in 2019, Lila placed third in the all-around and second on floor exercise at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships where she placed in the top 15 in the all-around. Lila qualified to the 2020 Level 8 State Championships but was unable to compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She also missed most of the 2021 season due to an injury.

In 2022, Lila competed as a level 9 gymnast where she qualified to the State Championships and Region 8 Championships. In 2023, she finished second in the all-around and second on uneven bars at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing seventh on uneven bars.

When Lila is not busy training 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys reading, paddle boarding, swimming, watching movies and spending time with her family. She is the daughter to Kristen LaRocque and Brian Devore and she has a sister, Olivia, a brother, Max and a dog named Hazel. Currently, Lila is an honor student at Hillgrove High School and she will graduate from high school in 2026.
