Nicollette had a lot of energy where she loved to climb and jump on trampolines. Her mom decided to enroll her into gymnastics at the age of three at Ace Gymnastics in Ocean Township, NJ. She was the 2014 Level 3 NJ State All-Around, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam & Floor Exercise Champion and 2015 Level 4 NJ State All-Around and Vault Champion. She skipped levels 5 and 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2017 season. At the 2017 Level 7 NJ State Championships, Nicollette placed fourth in the all-around with a 38.075 and first on uneven bars.
As a level 8 gymnast in 2018, Nicollette finished third in the all-around with a 37.925, first on balance beam and third on vault at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 7 Championships where she placed fourth in the all-around with a 37.825 and second on uneven bars and balance beam. Following Nicollette's 2018 season, she moved to MG Elite in Morganville, NJ.
Nicollette had a great level 9 season in 2019 where she grabbed gold medals on uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around with a 38.175 at the State Championships. At the Region 7 Championships, she finished first on uneven bars and in the all-around with a 37.825. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals, finishing second in the all-around with a 37.600 and first on balance beam. In 2020, Nicollette qualified to the Level 10 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. MG Elite did not compete in 2021. In December 2021, Nicollette had a toe surgery that kept her from competing during the 2022 season.
When Nicollette isn't busy training 20 hours each week, she enjoys baking and making string bracelets. She is the daughter to Jodie and Rich Crochet and she has three siblings; Trevor, Tanner and Bailey. Currently, Nicollette is an honor student at Pearson Online Academy and she will graduate from high school in 2024. She was a member of National Junior Honor Society.
