When Piper was six years old, a friend invited her to try gymnastics at KPAC Gymnastics in Statesville, NC. She fell in love with gymnastics and quickly progressed in the sport. She was the 2016 Level 3 NC State Vault, Uneven Bars and Balance Beam Bronze Medalist. Following her level 4 season, Piper moved to Everest Gymnastics in Huntersville, NC.

As a level 5 gymnast in 2018, Piper took home silver medals on balance beam and floor exercise at the State Championships. She skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 for the 2019 season. She took home a bronze medal on vault at the Level 7 State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships where she placed 13th overall and sixth on uneven bars. In 2020, Piper qualified to the Level 8 State Championships but was unable to compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2022, Piper moved up to level 9 where she placed eighth overall and sixth on floor exercise at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished eighth in the all-around and fourth on uneven bars. She was the first alternate for the Level 9 Eastern Nationals. As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2023, Piper qualified and competed at the State Championship and Region 8 Championships. In 2024, Piper placed seventh in the all-around and fifth on balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she placed in the top ten in the all-around and eighth on balance beam.

In 2025, Piper placed fifth in the all-around and fourth on uneven bars at the Level 10 State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished fifth in the all-around and sixth on floor exercise. She qualified to the Level 10 National Championships in Salt Lake City, UT.

When Piper isn't busy training over 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys art, drawing, building legos and puzzles. She is the daughter to Scott and Christie and she has two older sisters, Katie, Lanie, a younger sister, Ellie and a younger brother, Levi.

Currently, Piper is an honor student at Lincoln Charter School and she will graduate from high school in 2027. She is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Sign Language Club. When she has time, she also volunteers at the Special Olympics and United Through Sports. Piper was in her high school's musical.
