Raegan followed her older sister into gymnastics when she was four years old. She was watching her sister doing gymnastics and she knew she wanted to do the same. She joined pre-team by the age of six and started competing in level 3 in 2016. She was the 2017 Level 4 NC State Floor Exercise Champion and 2018 Level 5 NC State All-Around, Vault, Balance Beam and Floor Exercise Champion.

In 2020, Raegan skipped level 6 and quickly moved up to level 7 where she qualified to the State Championships but was unable to compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a level 8 gymnast in 2021, Raegan placed fifth in the all-around with a 37.475, first on vault and second on balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing second in the all-around with a 37.950 and first on vault. Reagan was named to America's Top 100 in level 4 (AA), level 5 (FX, AA) and level 7 (AA).

Raegan moved up to level 9 for the 2022 season. She won the all-around title with a 37.825 at the State Championships as well as a gold medal on balance beam, a silver medal on floor exercise and a bronze medal on vault. At the Region 8 Championships, Raegan placed fifth in the all-around with a 37.175, second on floor exercise and third on vault. Raegan qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals where she placed in the top 15 in the all-around. In 2023 and 2024 as a level 10 gymnast, Reagan qualified to the State Championships and Region 8 Championships.

In 2025, Raegan finished fifth in the all-around and second on balance beam at the Level 10 State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she placed fifth in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise. Raegan qualified to the Level 10 National Championships in Salt Lake City, UT where she finished 21st overall out of 57 gymnasts.

When Raegan isn't busy training over 22 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys shopping, traveling, baking, reading and spending time with her friends. She is the daughter to Stephen and Cara Leary and she has a sister, Elizabeth (Gymnast at PSU) and a brother, Max. Currently, she is an honor student at Sanderson High School and she will graduate from high school in 2027. She is a member of Young Life Youth Group.
