Railey started gymnastics at the age of three at a local gym in Alpharetta, GA. Following her 2014 season, Railey and her family relocated to North Carolina, where Railey began training at Raleigh School of Gymnastics in Raleigh, NC. She was the 2017 Level 6 NC State All-Around and Floor Exercise Silver Medalist and Level 6 NC State Team representative. In 2018 Railey was the Level 7 NC State All-Around, Uneven Bars and Floor Exercise Champion and Level 7 NC State Team representative finishing as the Uneven Bars Silver Medalist.

In 2019 as a level 8 gymnast, Railey placed third in the all-around with a 37.500 and second on balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she finished second on balance beam and third on floor exercise. During the 2020 season Railey qualified to the Level 8 NC State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to the Covid shutdown, she placed first at three out of four meets scoring 38.325, 38,600, and 38.550. She was named to America's Top 100 on vault (3x), balance beam, floor exercise and all-around (3x).

Railey moved up to level 9 for the 2021 season. She placed fourth in the all-around with a 37.300, second on uneven bars and third on vault at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, Railey finished first in the all-around with a 37.925 and second on uneven bars and balance beam. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals in College Park, GA where she finished an impressive third in the all-around with a 37.875, second on uneven bars and sixth on balance beam.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast at Sonshine Gymnastics, Railey placed fourth in the all-around and first on floor exercise at the State Championships. She qualified to the Level 10 National Championships after finishing in the top seven in the all-around and fourth on uneven bars at the Region 8 Championships. Railey did well in 2023 where she placed second in the all-around with a 37.900 and first on vault at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, Railey finished fourth in the all-around with a 37.850 and second on vault. She qualified to the Level 10 Nationals in Oklahoma City, OK, finishing in the top 15 in the all-around and 10th on balance beam.

In 2024, Railey placed fourth in the all-around and first on floor exercise with a 9.825 at the Level 10 State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she placed third in the all-around with a 38.075 in the Senior B session. She also finished second on balance beam and floor exercise. She qualified to the Level 10 Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL. In 2025, Railey finished third on uneven bars and first on floor exercise at the Region 8 Championships. She qualified to the Level 10 National Championships in Salt Lake City, UT, finishing 20th overall with a 37.800 and 12th on floor exercise out of 57 gymnasts.

When Railey isn't busy training over 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys swimming, making bomb Spotify playlists and teaching her dog new tricks. She is a master cookie maker and a professional ice cream eater! Currently, she is an honor student at Crossroads Flex High School and she will graduate in 2026. She volunteers at Durham Rescue Mission, Operation Christmas Child, and Ronald McDonald House.
