Allison was three years old when her parents first asked her what kind of activity she would like to try. They showed her a video of little girls doing ballet and gymnastics and she thought ballet was boring, so she chose gymnastics. She was enrolled at the Gymnastics Academy of Atlanta in Kennesaw, GA where she fell in love with the sport and has been a competitive gymnast ever since.

Allison was the 2017 Level 4 GA State All-Around, Balance Beam, and Floor Exercise Champion and was named to America’s Top 100 on balance beam with a score of 9.825. In 2019, she was the Level 6 GA State All-Around, Balance Beam, and Floor Exercise Champion. At the 2019 Level 6 Regionals, Allison was a Georgia State Team member as well as the All-Around and Balance Beam Champion. In the same year, she made the TOPS B National Team and was awarded the Best Physical Abilities award at the TOPS National Camp. During her level 6 year, Allison was also named to America’s Top 100 on uneven bars (9.775), balance beam (9.800), floor exercise (9.850), and all-around (38.450).

In 2020, Allison skipped level 7 and quickly moved up to level 8. She qualified to the State Championships but was unable to compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Allison won all four events plus the all-around title at the Level 8 State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she was once again a member of the Georgia State Team and placed first on vault and second in the all-around. Allison was named to America’s Top 100 during the level 8 season on vault (9.725) and all-around (38.425).

Allison moved up to level 9 for the 2022 season, finishing first in the all-around and first on balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, Allison finished third in the all- around and first on balance beam. She qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals where she finished seventh in the all-around, second on vault and third on floor exercise. In 2023, Allison qualified to the Level 9 State Championships but was unable to compete due to an injury.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2024, Allison placed ninth in the all-around and fifth on balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships. In 2025, Allison finished fifth on floor exercise, sixth on vault and seventh on balance beam at the Region 8 Championships.

When Allison isn't busy training 20 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys reading, baking, swimming and spending time with her family and friends. She is the daughter to Theron and Cheryl Stancil and she has a brother, Samuel. Currently, Allison is an honor/AP student at North Cobb High School and she will graduate from high school in 2027. She is a member of Future Health Professionals Association (HOSA), Beta Club, Asian Students Association and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Allison serves in the children's ministry at her church. She participates in various community service activities through Beta Club and HOSA.
