Brooke was very uncoordinated and clumsy when she was a toddler. Her parents thought gymnastics would help to teach her how to balance and fall correctly, so she began taking recreational classes at 2.5 years old. Brooke has been training at Southeastern Gymnastics in Weddington, NC her whole gymnastics career. She was the 2015 Level 3 NC State All-Around, Uneven Bars & Floor Exercise Champion, 2016 Level 4 NC State Uneven Bars Champion and 2017 Level 5 NC State Uneven Bars Bronze Medalist. As a level 6 gymnast in 2018, Brooke placed fourth in the all-around and third on uneven bars at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 8 Championships, finishing third in the all-around and third on uneven bars.
In 2019, Brooke moved up to level 7. She placed second on uneven bars and sixth in the all-around at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Championships, she grabbed gold medals on uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around with a 38.125. Brooke was named to America's Top 100 on uneven bars with a 9.850. In 2020 as a level 8 gymnast, Brooke qualified to the Level 8 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Brooke moved up to level 9 for the 2021 season. She qualified to the State Championships and Region 8 Championships. In 2022, Brooke placed third in the all-around with a 37.575 and second on uneven bars at the Region 8 Championships.
