Gianna started gymnastics at three years old in a Mommy and Me program. She fell in love with it right away and never wanted to do any other sport. She was the 2018 Level 6 Regional Vault and Floor Exercise Bronze Medalist, 2019 Level 7 SoCal State Vault Bronze Medalist, and 2019 Level 7 regional All-Around and Vault Silver Medalist. She qualified to the 2020 Level 8 State Championships but was unable to compete due to COVID-19 pandemic. Gianna's overall goal is to make gymnastics a memorable part of her life. Gymnastics is just a stage in her life, but she wants to make the best out of it and look back not at awards and medals, but the experience and journey that helped shape a girl that is driven by passion for her sport.

When Gianna isn't busy training 25 hours each week in the gym, she enjoys running on the beach at sunset, paddle boarding in the marina and swimming in the ocean. Gianna is heavily involved in her confirmation program for the last two years and not only takes part in, but has coordinated her own Mercy Projects due to COVID. She has organized food drives, canned food drives and is now working on a coat drive for the needy. Gianna will be confirmed in Spring of 2021 at St. James and plans to come back in Fall of 2021 to be a Teen Leader and chair Mercy projects for the community. Gianna has found a real passion for organizing events that can have such a huge impact for those in need.

Gianna is an honor student at Connections Academy and she will graduate from high school in 2023. She is a Polyglot, fluent in English, Portuguese and Mandarin Chinese. She has been studying Chinese for six years and has numerous letters from past teachers recommending Gianna for advanced programs in S.T.E.M. that require Mandarin-like coding. Gianna plans to minor in Chinese studies in college.
